Getting around the Lake Louise area
There are a few options to visit the iconic lakes in Lake Louise. As the summer gets busier, parking may become scarce. To make the most of your day, we suggest leaving early morning to secure a parking spot or use one of the transportation options below. Please note that beginning this summer, there is an $11.70 charge per day to park at Lake Louise.

Hiking
Beautiful hiking abounds. Banff National Park offers some of the world’s most spectacular scenery, seen through more than 1,600 kilometres of defined trails.

Lake Louise Summer Sightseeing Gondola is the ultimate stop-off for all-ages sightseeing, with some of the best chances to spot wild grizzly bears.
