Faiveley Family Legacy - A Two-Century Journey Through Burgundy's Terroirs

Wine runs deep in the Faiveley family’s blood, as they have been deeply rooted in Bourgogne, its history, and its culture for almost two centuries now. Their values have remained unchanged over the last seven generations and are based on a deep attachment to the Bourgogne region and an instinctive passion for the terroirs. Today they are one of the largest owners in Burgundy, with holdings spreading from the Côte de Nuits to the Côte Chalonnaise, featuring polished, collectible reds and whites with exceptionally high ratings. As the sixth generation to take the reins, François Faiveley manages, with equal amounts passion and competence. Methodically reconstructing vineyards fractured by French inheritance laws.

Meet Your Host - Jérôme Flous

Born in 1973 in Bordeaux, Jérôme Flous developed his deep-rooted passion for viticulture and winemaking under the influence of his grandfather, the owner of a small domaine in the Sauternes region. Graduating as an oenologist from ISVV (Institut Supérieur de la Vigne et du Vin – Bordeaux) in 1996 and as a Quality Engineer (Université des Sciences – Bordeaux) in 1997, Flous honed his skills through internships at renowned estates like Château Guiraud and Château Smith Haut Lafitte. Following a stint in the South of France with the wine company Occitane Group, he joined Michel Paetzold, specializing in technical services and consulting. In 2007, Flous became the Chief Winemaker at Domaine Faiveley, where he plays a crucial role in overseeing the estate's entire winemaking process, ensuring a commitment to quality and excellence from vine cultivation to bottling.
